Chris Paterson BSc (Hons)
In 2017, Chris graduated from UBCO with a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Chemistry. During his time at university, Chris conducted undergraduate research in inorganic synthesis and performed a number of executive roles for the Chemistry Course Union. After spending two years as an Analytical Chemist for a pharmaceutical company, Chris followed his passion for finance and joined Gerald Goertsen’s team at De Thomas Wealth Management. In the spring of 2020, Chris earned his Mutual Fund license and began his role as an Assistant Advisor to Gerald Goertsen (CFP®). In order to better support Gerald’s Mutual Fund clientele, Chris continues to expand his knowledge by pursuing both the Elder Planning Counselor and Certified Financial Planner® designations.
Chris feels fortunate to call the Okanagan Valley his home, as he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and snowboarding.
